With the news that their small town of Lafors is competing to be the next location for Gerrman superstore chain ‘Superbilly’, the local government decides to enlist high school students to help make a town advertisement while staying within budget. Teens Aida and Dana enthusiastically take up the challenge, breaking out their cell phones and selfie sticks to record their surroundings and interviews with fellow citizens. After a local construction company funds the hire of a professional director from Stockholm to shoot a commercial full of idyllic clichés, Aida and Dana are further inspired to continue their project of documenting the “real” Lafors.
