Event Details

Dinky, a teenage mouse, and her two friends decide to run away and escape their banal lives on the decaying island they call home. She tries to convince her boyfriend, Birdboy, to join her, but his demons are internal. Like many of the animals on the island Birdboy deals with the trauma of his past with drugs, all while being pursued by two single minded police dogs. The young friends must come together to face the ugliness of what the world has become, and determine if escape is really possible. With creative and macabre visuals, Psiconautas, los ninos olvidados is a dystopian fable, equal parts imaginative and terrifying—and all too relevant in light of current environmental and economic issues. This film deals with the people, or animals, left behind and the chaos that comes with being forgotten.
