19th Latin American Film Festival
April 25, 2015 until May 9, 2015

The Latin American Film Festival has grown over its 18 editions into one of Ottawa’s most eagerly anticipated annual cultural events. This is due to the energy and support of the Latin American embassies and their many staff members and ambassadors over the years, our festival sponsors, our volunteers, and you, the generous public who come to the screenings to explore the incredible richness, diversity, and artistry of Latin American cinema.
 
This year, the Canadian Film Institute has added some special events and screenings, including the return of our South ↔ North: Cinema Across Borders series that explores the relationships and cultural and filmmaking exchanges between Canada, the U.S.A., and Latin America. We also have a screening of the classic 1949 Mexican comedy, The Great Madcap, directed by film legend, Luis Buñuel.
 
For the 19th edition, we are thrilled to be in partnership with Carleton University in presenting this year’s festival in the beautiful River Building Theatre.

5-Film Passports:
• CFI Membership required
• Non-transferable, non-refundable
• Valid for one entry per member, per screening
• Valid from April 25 - May 9, 2015, and South ↔ North events on May 2 and 3.

All-Access Festival Pass:
• No membership required
• Valid for one entry per screening
• Valid from April 25 - May 9, 2015 and South ↔ North events on May 2 and 3

CFI Annual/Duo Membership:
• Valid for discounted prices for one year from purchase date
• You must present your CFI Membership Card to receive discounted prices
• We cannot replace lost or stolen cards.

CFI Ambassador Membership:
• Valid for complimentary admission for one (1) to CFI Events for one year from purchase date
• You must present your CFI Ambassador Membership Card for admission
• Other benefits: 2 free admissions for any CFI screening for sharing; $125 tax receipt; mention in CFI programme guides
