Battling fraternal twins Emma and Chantal have the house to themselves for the summer, and although their parents suggest that they use the time to bond before Emma leaves for college and Chantal begins her own business, they are determined to avoid one another. Their plans are interrupted when Chantal is injured in a car accident, and Emma must help her sister recover. As Emma fills in for Chantal while trying to get her metal band together, the young women become increasingly involved and invested in each other’s lives, growing closer as they grow up. With its dynamic characters and an acclaimed breakthrough performance from Jordanne Jones, METAL HEART is a coming-of-age comedy set to warm all hearts.
