Chile Grande, Cayenne And Jalapeno Peppers

My little cayenne pepper plants that were drowned a couple of time did survive but they have very short plants so the cayenne peppers look huge. I’m just waiting for them to turn red and we’re good to go.

I have already tried one of our Chile Grande hot peppers and it was definitely hot when I tried a slice. I then added the rest to the lunch I prepared Sunday. Just the right amount of heat.

We have about five times as many house plant identifier as last year. All I am waiting for now is the sun to turn them as red as the Chile Grande above.

Tiny Tim And Sweet Millions Tomatoes

They were started late as a last minute thought when I put together a few new raised bed gardens so they didn’t start producing until just this past month.

I didn’t expect a lot of tomatoes from my Tiny Tim or Sweet Million tomatoes however I’ve been pleasantly surprised.

We tend to eat a couple of tomatoes every time we go outdoors. Just pick it off the plant, give it a rub to clean any dirt that might have splashed on them and pop them in your mouth. So sweet. The other tomatoes of course are all for preserves.
